While mods to SdR B438 "Capt John" were being done in Low End Works it was decided to bring forward plans to procure another large tank engine.

A brand new "Sabrina" class 0-4-0 saddle tank delivered on Thu, 07 Apr 2022 from KGR and she immediately went into Low End Works for filtting of standard buffers with 2-link couplings and a Goodall valve for boiler filling in traffic.

Since entering service on SdR further modifications carried out to this loco include:

• New cab hand rails to replace the weedy ones originally fitted by Accucraft
• Cab to frame fixing screws replaced with standard 6BA brass nuts and bolts
• Lamp bracket fitted to cab back sheet
• Repaint of cab interior to cream
• Ultra fine steam regulator spindle fitted; supplied by TTD in USA

The loco suffered from firing problems so these were rectified by the following mods carried out in 2023

• Accucraft gas tank, gas regulator, fuel pipework and jet and jet housing removed and scrapped
• New Roundhouse gas tank, gas regulator, fuel pipework and gas jet fitted to loco 
• Bix gas jet block fitted
• Cab backsheet cutaway to allow access to gas jet
• Steel bracket fitted to hold jet block into gas burner
• Cab backsheet upper section cut to roof follow profile thus allowing better access to steam regulator
• Displacement lubricator tank plug fitted with brass handle
• Water level blowdown valve fitted with a copper handwheel for ease of opening and closing when loco is hot
