0-4-0ST AB Titty outshopped from Works

Janet class 0-4-0ST "A B Titty" was out-shopped from Low End Works on Tuesday 24th Feb 2026. 

This followed modifications to the loco's saddle tank which entailed installing a sheet of 2mm thickness ceramic fibre insulation inside the tank and held in place by a new heat shield made from tinplate.

The reason for this modification was to protect the paintwork which had become discoloured despite the paint being described as being heat resistant.
