The new frames, wheels, cylinders, pistons and motion (i.e. Janet chassis) arrived from RWM Steam and the existing Bix gas burner was installed between the frames.
Also a new displacement lubricator with steam pipe was supplied from RWM Steam.
The new steam pipe has been routed at a higher level through the firebox than the old one and this required use of pipe benders to shape the new pipe.
The new inline displacement lubricator is positioned inside the cab in contrast to the old "dead-leg" type which was bolted onto the outside of the smokebox.
