Rebuilt Dot outshopped from Works

Explosion proof battery electric mining locomotive "Dot" was outshopped from Low End Works in April 2024 following rebuild.

The following modifications were completed:

• Extending the frames to accommodate a new and larger driving cab
• Replacement of electrical control gear with radio control gear supplied by Fosworks 
• Battery isolation switch (BIS) relocated from the battery box to the cab
• Weight increased to 2.1Kg for greater adhesion
