Loco No2 Boy Roger is now back in Low End Works for yet another major rebuild!
This time the loco will receive similar treatment as applied earlier to No1 A B Titty. But unlike No1 she will retain her original frames and cylinders because she has a Mamod Mk1 chassis which has proved to be powerful and performs well.
The project will entail:
- New high pressure boiler, burner and inline displacement lubricator supplied by RWM Steam
- New firebox and smokebox supplied by Dream Steam
- New wheels (originally supplied by Dream Steam and recovered from No1 when replaced by an RWM Steam chassis)
- Side tanks to be replaced by a saddle tank
- New cab
- New footplate
- New chimney; with brass cap supplied by Roundhouse Engineering Ltd
