Work on mods to SdR No4 "Capt John"are taking longer than expected. A new full-width running plate is now being made.
So it was decided to bring forward plans to procure another large tank engine.
A brand new "Sabrina" class 0-4-0 saddle tank has therefore been delivered today from KGR and she is now in Low End Works awaiting new buffers and a Goodall valve.
