Battery mining loco No6 DOT has now received her brass nameplates which were fitted while she was in works receiving attention for various things:
- Traction batteries replaced with recharged ones
- Lighting battery replaced with a recharged one
- Lower frames painted in Ochre Brown to match the cab
- New black plastic temporary power/brake control wheel fitted in place of the old transparent acrylic temporary one which was invisible.
- Brass "DOT" nameplates supplied by Garden Railway Specialists were fitted to the cab on both sides
Note: the ordered power/brake control wheel being supplied from the Wilesco factory in Germany is reportedly still stuck in Customs at the port (probably Felixtowe) due to Brexit.
