Low End Works's latest new-build project Bridget the Steam Tram has been completed and the loco was outshopped on 26 March 2023.
Special features of this new locomotive are:
- Mamod vertical boiler
- Mamod 2-cylinder vertical oscillating steam motor
- Gear drive to one axle and transmission to other axle is by side rods
- Fueled on LPG
- Condenser unit installed to dry the exhaust steam
- Dual Concentric Chimney allows exhaust steam to be separated from exhaust gasses
- Steam regulation is by manual control of steam regulator wheel
